The rim is manufactured from 100% high modulus carbon fibre allowing the spokes nipples to be hidden in the rim. The alloy hex head nipple then near doubles the contact area to a Zipp rim for example which makes the wheels much stronger and more reliable in this vulnerable area while also improving the overall wheel aerodynamics (Spoke spanners are supplied with wheel sets) Laced in the X one hubs using Pillar PSR TB Aero 1422 spoke, counting 24 rear (crossed twice) 280mm/282mm and 20 front (radial) 276mm the 38mm wheel set is most suitable for road racing/triathlon or hilly courses.
