Nutrition tips - Sore Leg? Knees? Joints? Back?

Do u have any of the following?
• Chronic joint injury
• Osteoarthritis
• Use joints in a repetitive manner to prevent wear and tear
• S
ore muscles

Read below on some great info on products that really do help you recover from tough training or any soreness you might be getting….

Obviously the use of ice to bring down inflammation helps, also using ultrasound guns are a great way I've found to help this too. With the use of massage and stretching and using these products it really speeds up recovery from injuries and soreness.

L- glutamine

As an anabolic and lipolytic dietary supplement, glutamine is extremely effective at promoting muscular repair and immune system recovery. The lipolysis that results from glutamine supplementation will influence growth hormone levels and alter the testosterone to estrogen ratio. An alteration of this kind in the hormonal relationship will increase anabolism and further accelerate muscular growth and repair. Increased growth hormone levels will also slow the aging process, thereby preventing a decline in the body¹s natural ability to self-heal. This will extend the life of the athletes career

Glucosomine

Dietary glucosamine serves as an immediate precursor for glycosaminoglycan synthesis, and also stimulates incorporation of other precursors into the connective tissue matrix. Bioavailibility of glucosamine sulphate is excellent, it is absorbed intact and utilized very quickly by all tissues, including connective tissues.
Glucosamine sulphate 1500mg daily, is a well-recognised, highly effective source of glucosamine for joint maintenance and healing.

*"... Long-term administration of glucosamine sulphate over 3 years can prevent joint structure changes in patients with osteoarthritis of the knee with a significant improvement in symptoms.“Glucosamine sulphate 1500mg daily, is a well-recognised, highly effective source of glucosamine for joint maintenance and healing.”

Uses: Chronic joint injury, Nutritional support of Osteoarthritis, Prevention of wear and tear of joints.

Who would benefit from taking Glucosamine 500?
• Anyone with chronic joint injury
• Anyone with osteoarthritis
• Anyone who uses joints in a repetitive manner to prevent wear and tear

Chondrotine

There is evidence that not only Glucosamine sulphate but that Chondroitin sulphate also helps to relieve the symptoms of Osteoarthritis.

According to Dr. Jason Theodosakis, author of “The Arthritis Cure”, the use of Chondroitin sulphate may “slow, halt or prevent the degeneration of the cartilage.”

Chondroitin sulphate helps to maintain and rebuild healthy joint tissues. Chondroitin and sulphur are both key components of mucopolysaccharides, providing lubrication within the joints. Mucoplysaccharides in turn, are an important ground substance in connective tissue, helpful in join mobility and integrity.

Studies have shown that cartilage-derived supplements may act as anti-angiogenic agents. In other words, the growth of new blood vessels around the cartilage in the joint may cause calcification. Supplementation with Chondroitin sulphate may prevent this from happening.

MSM

MSM is a naturally occurring compound of biologically available sulphur, an indispensable element in human nutrition. MSM serves as a versatile donor of metabolically active sulphur for the synthesis of numerous proteins in the body. As such MSM helps maintain normal immune response, lung function and muscle contraction. MSM is very well absorbed by the intestinal tract and rapidly distributed within the body.
