It was a perfect morning for a run - clear, crisp and there was a light breeze. And FAST members were set to give it a go in the Gold Coast marathon and 1/2 marathon events.
Oliver Lamb, in his second ever marathon, put on a show for the ages. He crossed the line in 2:45!
In her debut at the distance - notwithstanding the 42kms that need to be run in an ironman, Lisa Marangon clocked a very impressive 3:02.
Tim Moore was next, in a PB of 3:10, followed shortly after by Margreet Dietz at 3:15 (a few minutes shy of the PB she set at the Canberra marathon in mid-April).
In the half marathon, Tony Golden proved again that he's Mr Consistency, crossing in 1:33. Jacqui Benoit finished in 1:40.
A superb showing for FAST!
